I've long-observed that contemporary Leftism is a religion. I recently had a debate with the Leftist, and in the entire exchange he presented no facts or evidence-- rather, like an NPC he just kept telling me that I "just had to listen"-- as if I'm not already bombarded by Leftist talking points all day, every day. Which reminded me a lot of my Catholic up-bringing: "You just have to believe".

Modern Leftism is a faith based framework. Climate denier! No facts or postulate-backing data is required: the mere reality that someone feels something, makes it valid. Unless, of course, it's coming from me or another Conservative, in which case it can be instantly dismissed as "fake news" or "white supremacy", no matter how well-sourced are the arguments.

Much to my interest then, Nigel Farage equated the Left to England's 17th century Puritans: give a listen, right around the seventeen minute mark. He also threw out, "if there is a television show which you don't think is funny-- then don't watch it. But for heaven's sake, don't ban it." Sounds like a familiar and reasonable argument, wonder where I've heard it?

During Corrrroonnna, Eric Peters was brilliant; during the unfolding initial George Floyd situation, Stefan Molyneux was on-point; and now, during the aftermath of all of this, it's Tucker Carlson who is stepping up to the plate. Other than that famous Trump speech in 2016, I have never heard someone in such a visible position be so honest.

I've been wondering which historical event this instance of Leftist mob violence will follow if it's allowed to fester, and I suspect it will be like the situation in South Africa: white land owners-- in America, people who own businesses, or even single-family homes-- will be sporadically shot dead in their own shops or living rooms, creating a general sense of horror and dread.

The next step will be for the State apparatus-- once sufficiently Agit-Propped-- to institute forced buy-outs of white-owned property, where it will be re-distributed to to black people. The American twist could also be institutionalized reparations, which are automatically removed from white people's paychecks, like a new tax.

Combine this with the whole Fed situation, having just created trillions of dollars of new money, with which they are monetizing everything under the sun. If the velocity of money picks up, we could be headed for the perfect storm of civilization-collapsing unrest.

My Murderapolis house needs some work-- a new roof, a paved driveway in the back, and lots of general maintenance-- and I'm waffling on all of it, until I can get a better sense of where this all heads. I'd hate to sink ten grand into a house I just need to abandon in eighteen months.
