"Let's see, how many violent transgendered Muslims can we fit into a room, versus actually picking the most capable people regardless of their ethnic or sexual background?" Incidentally, the approach sounds pretty racist and sexist to me!

Of course, there's also the fact that the entire motley crew was hand-picked by an executive at Citibank, which does not surprise me in the least.
