Review
Titus, need I say more? Admittedly, I didn't give this game a full play, mostly because of how horrifically bad it is. For starters, in classic style, Titus puts it's ugly furry face on it's merchandise before anything else pops up in the game. When the game starts, you get the title screen and... it begins. Classic Titus style, they made the title screen have horrible music, in addition they also made the title screen pop out, spin, and do other "tricks" to make you as nauseous as possible. When the game starts you're given 3 options for some reason.. and when you select new game you have 3 files, for some reason. Once you get past THAT awkward useless Titus-approved screen you get to the main menu where you can quick-game, play a story mode(HAAAHHHH), versus mode(assuming 2player), or finagle with the options. Something fun I learned is that not all the options are in the options. Yes, that's right, half the options are in the pause menu IN GAME. If you want to play black, you HAVE to go through the in game pause option menu and then quit game to restart it. The fun thing about this is that sometimes the settings reset, and sometimes they don't! classic Titus style. The story mode consists of a world map of earth with 4-6 challenges per continent. Beaten an opponent gives you a gold trophy on them and beating all 4 on any continent unlocks the 5th challenge and assuming beating them unlocks the 6th. Granted, I did not give this game a lot of attention mostly because the options menu shenanigans made it stupidly hard to start a game in a reasonable amount of time, and ontop of that, no matter WHEN you quit out of the game it forces you back into the last action taken when you restart it. That means, specifically, you cannot quick-start the game and you MUST go through the menu system that doesn't work half the time. The music(?) is pretty shit, and the faces and graphics are fairly horrific. They tried to use real faces, but, they have the ugliest people I've ever seen. Ugly people make Ugly games.

All in All, This game deserves to be in a fire with a 2.5 score. It was a reluctant 2.5 because it's hard to screw chess up, but all the way it was presented was horrible, and the AI was ridiculous, especially when it comes to losing. The AI vehemently tries to draw VERY HARD even on the "easy" opponents. Bad music, bad graphics, don't try 3D mode.
