Review
An awkward game, pretty sure this one was made for kids, but plays perfectly fine as a "very easy" game for adults. You play as a cucumber superhero out to rescue his friends from the temptation of an apple. It has a lot of references to older video games like pong and space invaders, but most of the gameplay is similar to the OG Donkey Kong, or the Mario vs Donkey Kong series. You control LarryBoy the cucumber which looks mysteriously like a masked shit pickle with plungers for ears. Your goal is to get the mysteriously dollar-looking thing in each level. Surprisingly there isn't anything that can actually 'kill' you in this game. Rather, the entire game is a race against the clock. All the enemies you touch will do 'something' to either stun, slow, or mess with your progression rather than straight up ending you. There are 3 difficulty levels in this game, and all of them mess with the timer. This means that no matter what difficulty you pick, the game's natural difficulty is standard. Speaking of difficulty, did I mention this game is ridiculously easy? I think it was a kids series but honestly don't know the name. The levels consist of various traps, puzzles, and enemies and are mildly interesting in terms of puzzle games. Crave, aka dave mirra bmx, did this one. Honestly if crave stuck to this type of game instead of the pro skater type games, they would've been better developers. There are powerups like the invincibility iron helmet, the flower floating powers, and the boombox which stuns all enemies. There's also 2 time modifiers, the blue time which slows the clock down(gives you more time), and the red clock that speeds time up(less time is bad!). Strangely this game has a grappling mechanic, which I applaud it for, but since the game is pretty short it doesn't get all that much spotlight except for maybe 2 levels. The storyline of the game is a bit silly. Basically the Bad Apple provides temptation and lures the cucumber's friends into dangerous situations. He turns into a Super Hero to go save them, I guess? It's pretty childish, but the prose is solid. The design of the levels is pretty interesting overall in that they don't feel like a children's game, but also are easy enough for children. The controls feel pretty responsive all things considered. Pretty decent to fun game for a single playthrough. Credits after final boss. Good Music.

All in All, This game received an 8.0 for it's good music, design, and altogetherness. Short Game. Too Easy. Children's Game? Hard to Die.
