Review
E A SPORTS... It's in the game. Tiger Woods as a concept is synonymous with golfing, so it's not surprising that much like any celebrity he has a chain of games designed after him. This game for the GBA is surprisingly decent. I'm not the biggest golf fan in the world, but even I found this fairly easy to step into. The controls take a second to learn, in order to aim you have to press the B button first then line up your shot with left and right. The game naturally tries to select the best club for you and it usually helps, but sometimes you need to specialize in your swing. The difficulty of this game comes in the fact that the wind/rain can really mess with your trajectory.. as well as the curve of your shot which is determined by your second bar meter. Ideally you want to hit the line to get a straight shot. This game has 2 modes "PGA Tour" in the "games" category and "play now" which houses the challenge mode. There are 12 challenges which range from easy to diffcult. The 12th challenge is by far the worst. It took me 3:16:59 to beat the challenge mode which was significantly longer than the Pro Tour which you can cheese by quitting to the main menu when you're up on points or over par. The menu music is pretty decent, but it's only in the menu, the game itself has no music. Action is fast which is great for a gameboy game. It's fairly short though, only 18 holes. The PGA Tour just goes through the same 18 holes twice. Good for a single play.

All in All, This game deserved a solid score. It did it's job well but wasn't too amazing at being an amazing game. The challenges were a bit annoying because you needed at least -1 to win, and the final challenge was the worst. Hole 10 and Hole 17 are absolute garbage.
