Yeah, this is sudoku alright. 1000 sudoku puzzles. 50 puzzles per level, 20 levels, that's 1000 puzzles. I'm writing this review before "finishing" this game. The reason I'm writing before finishing is simply because each puzzle takes about 4-20 minutes each, which means that it's taking FAR LONGER than any other GBA game in the list. The sheer amount of time needed to "finish" this game (completing all the puzzles) is the biggest problem I have with this game, otherwise, it's a very basic game with minimal options. Very bland overall. IF you need a sudoku fix, you'll surely get your fix out with this game and then some. I imagine only someone with some type of mental disability that loves focusing on things would truly appreciate the full amount of this game's "challenge". As I am writing this review I've cleared levels 1-8 and halfway through 9. There is no credits in the options menu for this game so I am assuming that you must clear all 1000 puzzles to get the credits. If this is not the case, I will update this review. Sudoku as a game is a basic puzzle where every line must hold numbers 1-9 and every box must also hold 1-9. The 2 options there are, music and art are fairly decent. They put in the bare minimum but choose some good options for board color and background music. I have promptly given these 3 songs these names:
Song #1: Nintendo Wii-Shop Jpop
Song #2: Elegy of a High Class Prostitute.
Song #3: South American Fart Fruit Dance.
All in All, It was a toss-up between 6 and 7 but ultimately I decided that they could have done better in it's design, which was very lazy, so I gave it a 6. The game is pretty mediocre and it's biggest fault is that they didn't add anything more to "excite" the player to keep them interested. Just straight up puzzles, kinda lazy.
