A very short and sweet game. I don't know the cubix brand, but I guess it's based off a cartoon or something. This unique little isometric party-game reminds me a lot of smash bros or GBA ravemaster game. Essentially, this game is like an open arena styled game. Your goal is to defeat all enemies. There is a twist however. There's a "friendly" bot in each arena that needs to be protected. The controls are pretty simple too, A to jump, B to punch or laser. There are other combinations with other powerups too. Powerups are scattered throughout the map and will regenerate in their spots after about 3 or 5 seconds. It's not always the same powerup. Health seems to regenerate in the same spot. To win you have to defeat the enemy bots 3 times in most maps. There are 3 difficulty modes "easy, normal, extreme". There are also TONS of collectibles from what it looks like. Clearly this game has massive replay value. For the record I only played through the easy-mode story. Truth be told though, I still don't know the story of this game, if there is one. It seems like a game that is highly dependent on the player knowing the source material. The graphics were adequate to decent. I honestly don't even remember the music. This was a very short game, but I could honestly see myself enjoying this one if I had some friends and a link cable to play with, or even if this was the only game I had to play for a while. Between the difficulty settings, VS play, and the unlockables, this game has quite a hefty amount of replay value. The main story is only about 7 or 8 fights, which makes it extremely short. The final fight is actually the longest not because it's difficult, but because the enemy is a "flying" enemy which you can't punch. You gotta grab powerups to take em out like lasers, rockets, or super power. You can also lift barrels and boxes and throw them in this game, or give your allies your own health. Pretty simple but fun game overall. Credits in the options.
All in All, This fun little thing scored an 8.2 for it's replayability. lacking a plot. Button combinations can be a bit intimidating to remember. Too many powerups to focus with the fast gameplay. Final Boss takes forever.
