A fairly accurate real life representation of growing up. First you have a lot of fun as a baby, then you become a pre-teen and just walk around everywhere talking to people. On the off chance you meet someone with a quest, you have to find a volleyball and challenge them to a death battle. Welcome to the evolution of Rugrats. This is what ninten.... Nickelodeon's vision of the future was for the pickles family and friends. You play Angelica in this game who is exactly 12 years old and a journalist. Her objective is to go around and sniff out stories for her newspaper. There's A LOT of walking, and for some reason, every other person wants to play volleyball. Each news article starts with some sort of problem and you have to go find the person, or persons that are involved somehow with the story. This game is similar in a way to the cheetah girls game in how walk-tastic it is. I will say this game put more effort into the walking part of the game than the cheetah girls game did. For starters, you have 9 papers that act as your life and there are obstacles that can make you drop your papers. You can also pick them back up, but sometimes they go really far and despawn. It's not really an issue. Most of the game revolves around finding scoops, but sometimes you have to play minigames to advance or to just get a special item. The scoring systems all revolve around getting 3 stars. Some of the memory games can be a bit intimidating as with any memory game, however, they don't go that hard. Outside of the story mode, this game has a weird and truly unique set of "extras". It has a PDA feature, as well as a few link features, a poll feature, and a notepad. Really weird stuff. You can also put lipstick and jewelry on any of the 12 year old girls in the accessorize menu. You may be wondering why I know they're all 12 years old, well it's actually pretty simple. The game's final 2 levels are all about Angelica's 13th birthday party. Since she's a year older than the others, that means they're all 12 years old. creepy eh? The story of the game is heavy plot-oriented, but heavy walking simulator too. The one good thing that came out of this game was Chongo.
Hot Tips: Select button shows objectives on the map.
All in All, This game earned a 4.5 for itself. It's a Walking Simulator, Ball Toss constantly re-used, Basic predictable plots, is a short forgettable walking simulator.
