Review
For a racing game centered around ATVs(All Terrain Vehicles) it's quite odd that your speed drops to almost nothing off the road. Quad Power might seem like a racist cripple slur, but in this case it's a racing game by acclaim built for the GBA. There's fairly minimal options and controls in this game. Despite the almost non-existent options, there's a pretty good solid amount of play in this one. When you first start this game up everything is completely locked. To unlock anything you must play through challenge mode. Challenge mode has 3 difficulty levels to play through with 8 levels each and 1 extra level on the final difficulty. 2 laps, 3 laps, and 4 laps respectively for their difficulties. Beating certain levels in challenge mode unlocks levels or vehicles. One interesting thing about this game is how balanced it is. For Example; The very first track in the game will require you to place at least 3rd in 2 laps, and it's about equal in difficulty as the final track that requires you to place 1st in 4 laps. Another thing I noticed throughout this game is that it uses a password system. I did not see any saving done in the game either so I'm assuming that if you want to keep your progress, you're gonna have to write down this weird jenky symbol-based password. Your ATV is typically a little bit faster than the enemy ATVs but you start out in each race dead last, and you have to "catch up" to the enemy ATVs in the amount of laps you have. Scattered on the tracks too are powerups that get automatically used when you run through them. The Frog Powerup makes you get more air-time when you go off a hill. The Tire Powerup makes you stick to the ground so you don't jump off hills. The Exclamation Powerup is a nitro, it gives a very fast short boost to speed. The Lightning Powerup is the best, it grants a longer boost of speed that's slightly less fast than the nitro. Often the powerups will be split between picking one or the other as you race by them. Don't expect any spectacular collisions in this. There is a slight bounce back for both ATVs. It's just a pretty basic fun racing game outside of all that specialty stuff. Oh, right and the buttons, forgot about that... A makes you go, B makes you stop, Select changes your view. That's it. Basic, Simple, Clean. Credits after you beat all 3 difficulties. You can also access credits in the options menu whenever you want, but you get automatic credits when you beat all 3 difficulties. No music in races.

All in All, This game deserves a decent score of 7.5 for it's enjoyment factor. Lack of a proper save feature hurts games that record "best times". No music in the actual races. Lack/Minimal options for ATVs. No Mini-map. Weird screen adjustments around some corners. Kinda soulless on any characters/plot. Almost no ability to recover after a crash in later levels.
