Batman Beyond

Hey hey everyone! I know it's been awhile since my last review but
with school and all it's harder and harder to see movies. I still
haven't seen one but I have been watching some good TV. I am here today
to review the newest installment of the Batman animated series. Yes of
course I am talking about Batman Beyond.
Now your probably saying, "Mike why are you watching cartoons?"
Well here is my answer: this might as well be a movie, these cartoons
are darker, more violent, and have better writing than the new Batman
movies that have been directed by Mr. J.S. This is not a kids cartoon
show. It is very adult, including the messages the show puts out.
The whole concept of Batman Beyond is Bruce Wayne stopped being
Batman because his heart just couldn't take it anymore (at least that's
what Bruce is saying right now). Around 20 years into the future a kid
named Terry Maginis looses his dad to murder. Terry then takes up the
torch that is Batman and is Gothams new hero.
This show is incredible; the best I've seen in a long time. The
relationships between each character is very complex and, in each
episode is evolved. The relationship between Bruce and Terry is
obvious: teacher/apprentice.
This show is the best drama on TV right now and I suggest you watch
it at least once just to see if you like it. Don't have any
preconceived opinions on it because it is animated (my parents hate The
Simpsons and Batman because of the fact that it is animated).
Well, I'm off to see the new Pokemon Movie today so you should see
my next review very soon. Write you all later!
